Santa Fe, N.M. – Today, January 25, 2017 Representative Antonio “Moe” Maestas and the Hispano Chamber of Commerce to unveil the Historically Underutilized Business Opportunity Act, a bill that will bolster small businesses owned by women and other minority groups.

Representative Antonio “Moe” Maestas is a longtime civil rights organizer, and has successfully passed legislation that increases accesses to financial literacy classes in high schools and helped lead the passage of the film tax credit which cultivated economic growth in the state. He currently serves on the House Appropriations and Finance Committee; House Transportation, Public Works and Capital Improvements Committee; and House Rules and Order of Business Committee.
