Representative Joanne Ferrary was born in Ohio and moved to Albuquerque with her family when she was 12. She currently lives in Las Cruces with her husband Rich. She completed her undergraduate and MBA degrees at New Mexico State University while raising two kids as a single mom. She worked for the New Mexico Department of Transportation and partnered with federal and local governments to set up Community DWI Task Forces statewide.
Representative Ferrary currently serves on the Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Committee and on the Health and Human Services Committee.
