Representative Linda Trujillo Outlines Vision for Her First Legislative Session
Linda Trujillo Appointed Vice-Chair to the House Labor and Economic Development Committee Bringing Economic Opportunity to Northern New Mexico
Santa Fe, NM – Recently elected Representative Linda Trujillo was honored at the start of the 53rd legislative session with an appointment as Vice-Chair of the House Labor and Economic Development Committee where she will focus on economic opportunity in her district and throughout the state. Representative Trujillo was also appointed to serve on the House Education Committee, where she will be focused on bringing high-quality education to students throughout the state.
“I am working to guarantee that our state provides economic opportunities and a high-quality education for all New Mexicans” said Representative Linda Trujillo (D-Santa Fe). “Additionally, it is vital that state government is also transparent and open to the public, building increased trust between citizens and state officials.”
Having worked in government for 11 years and on the Commission of Public Records, Representative Linda Trujillo is also working with both sides of the aisle to address inconsistencies in how state rules are adopted. This is Representative Trujillo’s first term as a State Representative.
