Stephanie is a native New Mexican and lifelong educator who has worked both abroad and in Northern New Mexico. Today, she is a 3rd grade teacher in Pojoaque. As an educator, Stephanie taught at a Bureau of Indian Affairs school, a charter school and within the public school system. She has seen firsthand how public policies can succeed—and fall short— in preparing our children for a promising future. Stephanie is committed to making sure our communities are prepared and keeping pace for the changes ahead. Stephanie lives in Los Alamos with her husband and two daughters. This is her third term representing House District 43.
Stephanie serves as Chair of the House Education Committee and is a member of the House Labor and Economic Development Committee.
